Any update?

Wow...The Sugarbears lost 69-70 in OT! Norfolk is off to a 3-0 start to the season after beating Houston Baptist to start this tournament. This team was 4-23 last season...I sure hope they have a great season and they are much improved and that is why we lost to them.
Not the way I expected to start the season....

I was at the Alabama game and the girls played hard and competed. It is early and their is a whole different chemistry to this team. The biggest challenge will be merging the newcomers into the mindset of what made them successful last year. No personal agendas, "team first wins", "what can I do to contribute to the success of my team" type attitudes are a must in a team sport. We are fortunate to have a coach that understands those things and he will get this group focused. A lot of lessons can be learned from sports and winning and losing. These girls are learning right now, we will see what they are made of.
