SugarBears 36, 'Stangs 16, at the half. CBC's got more screens than an antebellum mansion.

SUGAR BEARS ROUT CENTRAL BAPTIST 76-35
12/6/2010 10:22:14 PM

CONWAY — Sophomore forward Desiree' Rogers had a season-high 17 points and junior guard Nakeia Guiden added 12 in her season debut as Central Arkansas routed Central Baptist College 76-35 Monday night in the Farris Center.

The Sugar Bears (4-4) led 21-12 late in the first half, then used a 15-2 run over a 4:30 span to extend the lead beyond 20 just before the break and put the game out of reach for the Lady Mustangs (2-10).

The second half was more of the same as the Sugar Bears outscored CBC 40-19 over the last 20 minutes en route to their most lopsided victory of the season. It was the widest margin of victory for UCA since the Sugar Bears defeated Wiley College 85-44 on Dec. 14 of last year...
