We fell apart with the press at the end of the second half. Then, Lamar could make a shot in the OT, so they were never able to set up the press. We obviously just pulled away with good shooting and making enough free throws. We did a great job of getting to the line in OT, even before the fouls by Lamar to stop the clock.

Great win. I was not feeling very good as Lamar made their run in the second half. But, they did it! Woo!

Awesome win. Little worried towards the end of the 2nd half but we pulled it off in the end. Actually got to watch this one...glad my work has comcast so I could watch it on espn3

3-pt shooting was HUGE, shooting 50% (I think), 7-for-14.
Herbert held to just 3 points on 1-of-5 shooting and only 4 rebounds.
Micah Rice led with 18, a perfect 9-for-9 from the line.
Nakeia had 15 and was 8-for-14 from the FT line.
Destinee Rodgers had 13.
Desiree had 7 and 14 rebounds.
Gowans hit two HUGE threes. Her only shots of the game.
Duever also had 6.

Back to Micah, she scored 9 of her 18 in OT. Seven of that was at the FT line.
Co-players of the game between three or four players?? Great team effort for sure.

Wow. Tomorrow at 7 pm for a chance to make it to the tournament!

KATY, Texas - As the horn sounded to close regulation, Central Arkansas coach Matt Daniel brought his team into the huddle and asked one simple question: "Are we having fun yet?"

Five minutes of basketball later, the Sugar Bears answered Daniel with an emphatic yes.

An 11-0 run to open overtime busted the game wide open and allowed third-seed Central Arkansas to stun defending Southland Conference tournament champion Lamar in a 68-60 win that propelled the Sugar Bears to Friday's championship game for the first time.

"We're on to the next one," said Central Arkansas (21-10) guard Destinee Rogers, who scored 13 points on an afternoon where Southland Conference Player of the Year Megan Herbert was limited to just three points and four rebounds...
