SugarBears sign 4th new player, Allegria Chisom from Wichita (Kan.) Heights. Looks promising. Welcome aboard, Allegria.

Great letter from Coach. If there is anyone who thinks SugarBear basketball is not heading in right direction, they did not see the possibilities showcased at the Farris Center against UAB in the WBI. We came up a bit short on the scoreboard but this was a game that showed our potential as a team and as fans. Just imagine us putting 3000+ in the FC for every game.

Coach is bringing Indiana and Alabama to the FC next fall and we need to make sure they are treated to sell outs crowds making life miserable for the visitors. The FC can be the toughest place for visitors to play in the region and the Southland. Coach and the ladies are working on their part and we need to do the same.

Everybody cannot do everything but we can all do something, such as:

1. Buy season tickets...one of the best sports buys around....when you cannot attend give tickets to others

2. Make sure you get to at least the Indiana or the Alabama game.... how about a new FC attendance record?

3. Be loud......noise can be a big factor in basketball....

4. If you cannot buy tickets give $50 to the program.....every dollar helps....

5. If you cannot attend the games, listen to the broadcast....

6. Wear PURPLE and wear SB gear...

The reason we are doing well and making progress is that our coaching staff really believes in what they are telling the young people they are recruiting. Matt really believes that hard work betters your chances for success and Matt really believes that making good choices consistently makes you a consistently better person and Matt really believes that "team comes first" and that with team success comes individual recognition. Old fashioned values with a little hair gel, some striped shirts, and a load of confidence = good leadership.
