Ouch.

This is the toughest team we will play this year, other than a high seed in the NCAA Tournament. The TTU ladies are the real thing. Very athletic and solid from 1-5 on the court. We know where we want to grow too.

We are better than a 30 point loss...

we are better than a 30 point loss, for sure. But Texas Tech was Indiana and Alabama rolled into one. Tech beat, I believe, Baylor and Texas A&M last season and all of their players, or most of them returned. Their posts were huge, but could play. The girls played very hard in the TT game and didnt give up, they battled, no question. But Tech was that good.

Either TT or Georgia Tech will be the best overall teams we face this year in the regular season, no doubt about it. In fact, I truly believe that TT was probably the 2nd best team over all that the Sugar bears have played since we moved up to D1. The game against Oklahoma in Norman 5 years ago was the best team/talent we have ever faced, TT on Saturday was 2nd best, the Oklahoma State team 2 days after the OU debacle would be the 3rd best/talented team we've faced, with ranked K-State being 4th on the list from 4 years ago.
