Maybe not, but still teams from big conferences that play big schedules. And both finished higher in the RPI than UCA last year, so pretty good schedule choices. It would've been great had they done better this year, but you can't have everything.
Now that the Sugar Bears have moved up and are getting some good mid-major attention, they should be able to get better games. While some top teams play non-D1 games, it's usually only 1 and last year no team above RPI 75 played more than 1. Pre-season tournaments can be a mixed bag, but the rest of the non-conference schedule should be as challenging as can be arranged.
