HALFTIME

Trailing 36-34 after two Micah Rice 3s in last minute....

Des leads all scorers at 10 and Micah has 9....Nakeia has 6 and Westin has 5...Megan at 4/6....

Need to play better defense...this could end up in upper 70s...excellent effort overall

Micah leads with 17 and Des at 12....Megan 6/10....Courtney 4/7....good for Matt letting Sims, Gowans, Moffit, Moss and Burris close out the last 3 minutes....

Absolutely awful FG shooting the 2nd half....4/27 FGs and 1/10 3s....PLUS got outrebounded 28-14 ....wow....

FGs: 28% v 49%
3s: 29% v 38%
FTs: 74% v 55%
Rebs: 30 v 45
TOs: 15 v 18

They certainly played hard but OSU's height finally won out....we seemed to resort to 3s (even Megan was 0/5 from 3s) as inside was gummed up and we were not getting calls.....

Coach: We ran out of gas...they were bigger....did not get to their shooters in 1st half....style of play in 2nd half was very physical....played our hearts out....

Hope the ladies and coaches focus on a great season and not the last two games....we will miss Des, Nakeia and Marci but they have done a great job over the past four years.....terrific season with an SLC crown and a 1st WNIT appearance...GO SUGARBEARS...

PS...thanks to Steve and crew for great broadcasts....
