The Sugar Bears hit the road tonight to take on Southern Illinois at 7:05 here in Carbondale. Airtime on The Bear 91.3 and UCAgameday.com will begin at 6:45.

The Salukis are making their season debut tonight and are coming off an 8-22 season, only 4-14 in Missouri Valley play. However they do return the reigning MVC Freshman of the Year, who happens to be the leading returning scorer in the MVC as well.
The Sugar Bears are ranked #25 in this week's CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Poll after the easy win over Oklahoma Wesleyan Friday night. SIU leads the series 2-0 with both meetings coming in back to back years in 07 and 08. Go Sugar Bears!

We have turned it over 14 times to their 9.
We are 0-5 from 3 and shooting 8-12 from FT.
