Trailed 29-28 at half..... then went totally cold and had way too many TOs to win......could not get open shots to fall...one more chance to make a hard run...down 51-40 with 3:39.....

With our more experienced players leading the charge on sloppy play.

And Herbert just fouled out.

Herbert sets school all-time record for rebounds..gets her 70th career DD...then fouls out with 13/16/9 (pt/rebs/TOs).....

Not going to win conference with these ridiculous amounts of turnovers.

FINAL

UCA 28+16=44
USM 29+24=53

All you need to know is UCA had 30 TOs.....more than offsets a great night rebounding by 47/29 and Herbert's 70th DD and all-time leading rebounder....Duever did have another solid game with 13/7...only 22% FGs in 2nd half.....

Coach:

All teams hit adversity...when Micah went down ......got to play through it....lack of focus...coming out of timeouts and doing opposite of what we drew up....this was a winnable game.....we need the break.....got to regroup......

Next game is 12/29/12 at FC vs Phiilander Smith

I agree, we aren't going to be as successful in SLC play as we have been if we keep turning it over like this.
