SFA (5-6/0-2) comes off opening week losses to Lamar (65-50) and McNeese State (74-57). SugarBears (9-4/2-0) avg 67ppg with a 17 ppg margin compared to SFA's 62 ppg and <2> margin.

SBs avg 43% FGS compared to 36% for SFA but more importantly hold oppoenents to only 33% FGs while SFA gives up 40%.

Both teams shoot about the same FT% and 3s%. The teams are 1-2 in SLC in rebounding as SBs hasd 10+ margin per game and SFA a +3.

Both teams avg about 19 TO per game.....

Lady Jacks led by Porsha Roberts at 10+ ppg (#10 SLC) , 7-8 rebs (#5 SLC) and 54% FG (#3 SLC). SBs led by Herbert at 18/11 (3rd/2nd in SLC) and Courtney Duever 13/9 (9th/4th SLC).

Keys to game are play SB basketball with tough defense, be patient on offense, hits the boards and make FTs.

Got to pick it up in Q3...SFA is edging back into the game with a 11-4 effort so far in H2.....Herbert has 22/5 so far....Duever is 6/5...they need some scoring help....

Halftime: UCA 38 SFA 21
Q2: UCA won 18-11
Q1: UCA led 20-10

Does anyone have connection to game broadcast over internet? I have been unable to connect although LiveStats working fiine...

SFA leads 47-45 with 7:06 to go...got to get some offense and some stops on D.....

Q3: SFA kicked SB behinds by 21-4....

The good news is we got the W. The Bad news is we have a lot of work to do if we are going to take the conference title.
