What a win...... 26-23 at half then 37-23 in H2...wow......

Well played game.. TOs only 8-10 NWS then rebs 27-23 UCA.....only 17 FTs for both teams all night.....SBs shoot 52% FGs and 46% 3s.....+12 for 3s...big factor.....

Proffitt puts up 28 for UCA including 6/13 for 3s...... enjoy that!!!

Mullins also had a good night with 10 (3/5 FGs adn 2/2 FTs), 5 assists, 3 rebs adn only one TO.....good job....

Watts also had a 9/3 night and 44% FGs....good night...


Back to 4-4 in SLC and still in the hunt.....11-9 overall and on the road next at Hammond on 2/4.....

Missed game tonight....any road win is a big win....nice job....held Lions to only 18 in H2.....Proffitt was 25/7 and played all 40....+9 rebs and only 13 TOs....SBs now 5-4/12-9.......

Sugarbears get the win against UNO. We looked good in spurts, but UNO came in determined after picking up their first SLC on Thursday over McNeese.

SBs win 60-54 with a very fine H1...won all phases of stats....good offesne and defense....kept a 8-10 oint lead most of H2 except when UNO pulled within 3 midway in H2.....UNO played much better in H2 while SBs FG% fell from 48% in H1 to only 26% in H2.....SBs had only 12 TOs and grabbed 40 resb including 15 offensive....

Another big game for Maggie with 16 and Brianna close behind at 14 plus 4 O-rebs......

Record now 6-4/13-9 with big game on road at Northwestern then huge home stretch vs Incarnate Word, McNesse and Sam Houston

Good job by the ladies....

I will tell you what but that rim closest to the pool or the North one seems to be tighter than the one closest to the exit. Both teams had problems on it tonight when they had their turns on it. I wonder if the guys who tighten the screws could loosen them a little. Watch the replays and you can see the ball ricochet off it even with the friendliest roll. Just a thought from someone who has played at brick hard center rings and taken some fun shots at nicely worn soft professional arena goals.

SBs fall 54-52 in a thriller.....NWS hit two FTs with 2 ticks on the clock for the win.....very even stats...only 24 TOs combined.....only 18 FTs combined.....only a 4 difference in rebs....both teams shot <40% FGs....Demons hit 11/12 FTs....

Mullins had a fine agme at 18/5, Watts was 11/3 and Watkins was 9/11 + 6 assists....Proffitt held to only 4 points in 39 minutes....

Tough loss...get it back together for I-Word next...

Good job to win games you shouldn win...win at FC over I-Word by 9...Mullins and Proffitt each score 15.....not great shooting % but only 13 TOs..and Coach gets #450....SBs now 14-10/7-5 and need to make a good run to close out....McNeese (7-5) at FC on Wed night and Sam Houston State (5-8) at FC on Sat at 2pm...need both of these...

Sugarbears drop another close one 63-65 to McNeese. Getting close to being out of the tournament.
