UCA just gets two commits that were previously committed to North Texas and Florida Atlantic.

Both three stars by 24/7. My guess is they are expecting to play as Freshman at UCA or at least much more playing time. This is a great start by the new ball coach!

Very solid gets for the program. Lack of shooting has hurt us. I’ll be interested to see how they compete at UCA. One thing is for sure I’m glad to see the program recruiting in state talent. That does help put butts in seats.

Always great to get Arkansas kids on
the roster. The point guard sounds
like a gem.

Do we know the style yet of Basketball we will see with the coaching change?

Hey now! I know Volleyball may be fairly simple, but Basketball has a variety of offensive styles :mrgreen:

Coach got the #1 and #4 rated players from
Arkansas to come to UCA.
Also got the #1 rated class 3A player from
Tennessee to sign with the Bears.

Time will tell, but I am certainly intrigued with
this guy and for once in a long time looking forward
to the Basketball season.

And maybe, just maybe he can convince the
community to get behind the program.

I’m excited for players to get to play under this
guy.

How many more gets, untill we can say this is the best recuriting class we have had in recent years?

Just signed another kid from Arkansas.
That’s a total of 5 new signings added
to the current roster of 17. That makes 22
Players with only 13 scholarships.
Only one player on the roster is listed as
a senior.

I know Tucker Anderson got in the portal.
Haven’t heard of anyone else yet.

Anyone know any word on players leaving?

They haven't updated the roster yet for the current season. 17 isn't accruate as of now.

Dnaiel Sofield and Masai Olowokere both are graduating I thought. Camren Hunter got in the portal and is headed to Wisconsin (quite a big jump). Tucker Anderson and Carl Daughtery are in the portal currently unsigned.

So if my math is right, it would be 18 as of now. We might see a guy or two quit or even transfer to a D2 program over the summer.
