Why is basketball recruiting so much different than football, when everyone knows about who is doing what?

Just because the recruiting services haven't gotten around to making it as big a deal. Give it time.

Trey is right...it really hasn't become a big deal, YET...it eventually will.

when I get a coach up here at the store and get them liquored up, they might drop a name or two, but that doesn't happen often.

Which doesn't happen often, the fact that they don't get lickered up or that they don't drop names?

Coach emailed me tonight and said he picked up a transfer from another...ummmm...place..yeah that's it..He didn't give me his name but told me that the kid is really excited about playing for the Bears....so much that he painted his body purple and unofficially Joined the "Purple Haze" group.

Here are his career Stats:

Height 7'2"
Weight 120 lbs
PPG 35
Rebs. per game 15
Assists per game 11

Strengths: ability to levitate and basicly freak the defense out with his big bug eyes.
Weaknesses: Body size. He needs to bulk up a bit. But he is tall.

If you see him on campus, wave at him..no wait..that's his mating call...just walk quickly the other way...no, nix that, maybe you should just run
