Sounds like he's going to talk about the tournament.

103.7 between 10 and 1.

Just wondering why they would have him on to talk about the Tourney when (a) we aren't in it, (b) our conference only has 1 team in it, and (c) we are a first year program? Not that these things really matter b/c him being on the show just gives us more publicity (in a good way)!

Probably has something to do with the fact that he is a college basketball coach who knows a lot about college basketball. Just a guess.

Dangit ... you beat me to the smartass reply.

If you want some college basketball analysis, would you rather listen to a Division I coach who has a pretty good resume´ and a tremendous knowledge of the game ... or Nathan Christian?

For a while there it looked like we would have played against several NCAA Tournament teams: Bucknell, UConn, Ole Miss, Marist, Mississippi Valley and Corpus Christi.

Sadly only Corpus made the tournament and only Marist, MVSU and Ole Miss made the NIT.

When was the last time UConn didn't have postseason play?

Nevermind, thanks to Google I see that this was the first time since 1987 the Huskies weren't invited to some postseason play. Pretty good streak. I think the Bears physically taxed them too much and they weren't able to perform up to par for the remainder of the season.

Apparently Nathan Christian isn't an option any more either. So, you'd definitely have to go with coach right now.

We taxed everybody too much. Only TAMCC could handle that type of pressure b/c they are a fellow SLC member.

That was Calhoun's first year. I think they went 9-19.

Justin Acri (AKA "major snoot wannabe") announced yesterday that Nathan was no longer with the station and there would be no further comment.

Translation, the sorry &^%*^*&*^^ went and got himself fired.

THANK YOU 103.7!!!!
