I'd rather play Kentucky anyway. Just look at the histories of the 2 schools and the venues you'd be playing in and compare them, U of K or Tiger high! I'll take a trip to Big Blue Country everytime, even if it means a few more hours of travel... :D

As a native son of the GREAT state of Tennessee and a resident of Bucksnort, I would count it as a GREAT honor and privilege to go over to Big Blue Country and see some REAL basketball.

Tiger High just ain't got it.....

Burly Bear :D

Calipari is probably scared we would go into his recruiting zone and start taking all of his prospects.

Wow....if we thought UCONN and Ole Miss were tough, Kentucky at Rupp will be beyond anything we have seen. Wonder if ADG would cover (not just print UCA SID article) this game?

The Bears vs. the Wildcats. Billy G's 1st game as UK Coach. As a native of the Bluegrass State, I would love to see the game. Plus, besides wearing a UCA shirt, I would really rub it in by wearing a Louisville cap (Wildcats HATE the Red and Black). Louisville is my hometown and I would have to show a little support for my second favorite college basketball school.

Granted it would be a tough game, but it can only continue to help our program. The pub coming out of the games in Connecticut last year was good for the school and hopefully it will continue as we prepare for the moment of truth in 2010 when we offically become elgible for championships in basketball.

Don't get me wrong....we have never shied away from competition and Kentucky would be great .....helps in recruiting to play in big name venues against big name teams..shows recruits you are trying to be for real .....who wants to play for a team that avoids competition?
