He should play a couple times this season where I can go see him....@190 he will need to add a lot of muscle to play at D1 level or be a REALLY good 3 pointer player...

https://ucasports.com/news/2022/11/9/mens-basketball-bears-sign-bentonville-wests-anderson.aspx

CONWAY, Ark. _ The University of Central Arkansas Bears signed forward Tucker Anderson to an NCAA letter of intent on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-8, 190-pound forward from Centerton, Ark., plays at Bentonville West High School, where he averaged 18 points per game as a junior, including a 32-point, six three-pointer effort against Springdale Har-Ber.

"Tucker is a knock-down shooter who brings a lot of versatility with his size & skill set," said UCA head coach Anthony Boone. "He will have a major impact on the court, in the classroom, and in the community."

Anderson's mother Sheila Frost-Anderson was a three-time All-Southeastern Conference selection while playing for Coach Pat Summitt and the Tennessee Lady Vols.

Watched the Rider game. Bears still have a lot of trouble keeping people from dribbling into the lane, but the help defense and rebounding is much improved. Klintman looks like a good glue guy and a type we’ve been missing for several years.

An easier schedule relative to previous years means we can get some good quality action and not get our brains kicked in for 2 months. Asun looks seriously good, but i think this team can make a little noise.

I’m extremely critical of brad teague and his apparent aloofness with this program, but Boone may have something going. Time will tell

Season record: 9-22/4-14

15 games decided by 10 or less...in BB today that generally means a close game that gets decided by FTs in last couple of minutes.... Bears were 7-8 in these games....

2/24: Kennesaw State, 56-72....Owls pretty solid.....won the ASUN Tourney as #1 seed....Bears kept up first 10 minutes then got down 16 at half...got within 8 in H2....KSU +5 made 3s which was basically the game....other stats pretty even...Hunter and Kayouloud each had 20...
2/22: Jacksonville State, 71-101...JSU was 19/34 for 3s and Bears only 9/29...that is a 30-point differential...JSU's lead scorer was 10/18 for 3s and these were LONG 3s...Bears played pretty good defense and had three players in double digits....other than 3s and d-rebs stats were very even...
2/19: @Bellarmine, 67-68....got down 9 early and fought back by half....then got down 6 and came back to take a 4-point lead at 10-minute mark...BU hit a winning shot with 5 ticks left after a o-reb....Cato missed last shot at buzzer...3 Bears in double figures and Eddy had 13 rebs...tough road loss that would have been a nice win...solid reb play....game played at Freedom Hall in Louisville
2/16: @EKU, 58-74 ....Richmond is rarely an easy road game ....good basketball country....Bears had season high 23 TOs....Colonels were +8 POTOs and +9 made FTs...Bears only got to the line 8x....that is the game.....the two teams were 7-48 from 3.....Isaiah Cozart really gave Bears heartburn in the paint in blocking 7 shots ,scored 16 and had 9 rebs....Kayouloud led Bears with 14/8, shot 46%, 2-2 FTs and only 1 TO but fouled out and had only 18 minutes on the court with foul trouble...
2/11: Austin Peay, 76-69 ... stats pretty even....only 9 TOs for Bears...also shot 48% FGs vs 37% for APU....those 5 extra made shots the difference in the game....Kayouloud excellent at 24/10 on 10-12 FGs including 1-1 3 and 3-4 FTs....Hunter had 13, Cato 12 and Reeves 11...
2/9: Lipscomb, 81-93....tied at 45 at half...kept in 4-8 point range in first 10 minutes of H2 but LU had their way the last 10...LU shot really well with 56% FGs, 44% 3s, 87% FTs and were +11 d-rebs giving more possessions...Bears shot only 34% FGs in H2 and only 21% for 3s....at least they were 13-13 FTs...Bears had only 7 TOs...Kayouloud was superb with 29-10 game with 50% FGs and 40% 3s and 3-3 FTs....and only 1 TO....Hunter added 18...
2/4: @Stetson, 80-99....trailed by 2 after 10 min then gave up a 12-4 run and ended down 14 at half....got down by 27 with 10 to go ....shot well but Stetson shot better...got to the line pretty well....Stetson +15 possessions on d-rebs and UCA TOs....Kayouloud led with 24 and Reeves had 13 and Hunter 12...
2/2: @FGCU, 91-87....trailed by 8 late in H1 but closed to 42-45 at the break...finished half on 7-2 run....fell behind by 12 in H2 then started steady comeback making game nip and tuck....took lead at 7:10 mark and never yielded....in last 2 minutes UCA was 3-0 from charity stripe and FGCU 0-0.....teams almost identical for 3s (43%) and FTs (75%)...Bears shot 53% from field overall vs 44%.....better yet they were 21-34 for 2s for 62%...only 10 TOs...Kayouloud was lights out with 32/11 with 70% FGs and 3-3 from FT line and wrapped the game up with a fast break dunk...Cato had a strong game at 13/9 ....Reeves added 11 and Olowokere had 10...
1/28: Jacksonville, 64-74....close game in H1 and trailed by 3 at the break.....actually took a lead early H2 but then gradually slipped behind getting down by 18 with 7 to go...both teams shot FTs well and UCA +3 made....neither shot 3s well but Bears +3 made....Jacksonville 21/33 for 2s while Bears only 10/24....Bears made 10 3s but missed 20....could have used 5-6 of those misses for made 2s....Hunter another solid game at 18/6..Kayouloud 13/7 and Cooper added 12...those three were a strong 9/20 for 3s..all others 1/10....
1/26: North Florida, 88-85 in OT....trailed by 8 at half...came back and nearly won in regulation then scrambled for the win in OT...when you are in the cellar any win over a higher team is big.....UNF +5 made FTs (both teams had 48 combined FTs) and +6 made 3s but Bears were +7 made FGs on +16 shots taken...good to have Hunter back as he goes 24/12 and Kayouloud back on track with 19/10...Reeves added 15/9 and Cooper also in double figure points...Hunter and Reeves who could not play last game combined for 39/21...
1/21: @UNA, 66-82....Bears without 5 players (including Cam Hunter) who account for about 36 points per game....stayed with UNA for most of the game but sounded like they ran out of gas late in game with short bench...difference was UNA was +8 3s and out shot Bears 52% v 37% FGs....Crafoord got his first start and put up a 16/10 DD....Kayouloud, Cooper and Kirsipuu all in double figures...Bears got to line (23x) and made 17...
1/18: UNA, 73-78....missed 4 FTs in last couple of minutes that hurt...Bears -7 on "lost possessions" (TOs plus opponents defensive rebs)....UNA +20 in paint....UNA outshot Bears 48%/34%....Bears did hit 13/34 3s....Hunter was 20/11/11 for 4th Bear ever to have a triple double...
1/14: @Liberty, 62-82.....Flames had 5 more shots and 6 more made 3s....Hunter and Kipsipuu each had 14 for Bears
1/12: @Queen's, 92-91...big road win....Hunter tallies 33...shot well, got to the FT line (and hit the shots) and kept TOs down....Reeves and Kirsipuu each added 14...
1/7: @Austin Peay, 62-86...really never in the game....great FTs at 19/22...APU had 13 more shots......now 0-4/5-12
1/5: Eastern Kentucky, 75-77....heartbreaker...down by 17 and make it all the way back.....missed 2 FTs with 1 tick left....shot 25 3s.....yuck...Hunter had 25
1/2: Florida Gulf Coast, 79-84 in OT....FGCU is 12-3....Reeves had a 24/8 night for Bears...4 others in double figures...stats about as even as they could be....would have been nice to get this one...now 5-10/0-2
12/31: @Kennesaw State, 66-82...TOs and poor 3s shooting...if you shoot 30 3s you better be making them, now 5-9/0-1

Now only 5-8....looks like at best could have been about 7-6...some good things but now we see how they play vs ASUN....

12/28: @TCU, 57-103...not unexpected as Frogs pretty solid
12/20: @UALR, 66-75......led 7-0 then got to within 3 late....lost opportunity
12/17 @Oklahoma, 66-87..got down early...made run mid H2 to get within 13...
12/10: @Oral Roberts, 78-111...Bears led once at 2-0....Kayouloud excellent game with 20/5 in 22 minutes and 8/12 FGs...Hunter also solid at 19/5...now 5-5
12/7: A-State, 72-67....nice home win...down by 8 at half....good crowd of 2400...excellent 17/19 FT game....pretty even rebs and TOs...Bears +3 on made 3s....Hunter led with 20/7 and Cato went 14/8...Kayouloud 12/9...now 5-4
11/30: @ Loyola Chicago, 70-85....Bears hit 13 3s....apparently defense the issue...
11/27: Idaho State @ FC, 81-77...nice to win next afternoon after OT loss to Demons
11/26: Northwestern State @ FC, 66-74, OT....good comeback in H2 on a literally last second 3...to force OT then could not buy a bucket
11/19: Rider @ Dublin, 90-85
11/18: Niagara @ Dublin, Ireland (ASUN/MAAC Challenge), 64-73
11/14: UALR at FC, 82-71....nice win...Eddy K with 26 and Collin C with 22..play well in Dublin...
11/11: Hendrix at FC, 107-56...50% 3s but only 68% FTs
11/7: @ Wichita State, 55-79....WSU started 11-0 and Bears shot 4-30 3s...
11/1: EXH vs Champion Christian......115-79....good tune up before road game at WSU...15-19 FTs.....that's what we need every game...
