Trying not to read too much into this game, it's early and changes can be made.

A State 112 UCA 77 Final

May be another long season. I thought we would have played them within at least 20 points, even at their place. There is a chance from reading other things about A-State, that they may be much better than what everyone has given them credit for in preseason polls.

Looking at the stat lines, shooting didn't look terrible, but got beat on the rebounds/turnover battle pretty bad. I'm guessing A-State was hungry and had a hot night.

On the road to Tulsa now! By Pomeroy rankings, seems like Tulsa is a much worse team (272 vs Ark State 172). UCA has to find that Dawg inside.

Cam Hunter out for a few weeks with injury...20 per game scorer......

When did this happen? Before the ASU game?

Coach Boone spoke about it at half time of the Tarleton football game with Acri....sounded like maybe a couple days before in practice...he also spoke about how quickly the Bentonville West freshman is adjusting to college level play and how well Cato has done in practice....a few other comments I do not remember the specifics....

If he's out a couple of weeks then all we have is Tulsa, Hendrix, and UAPB.
Hopefully we can find some defense in that time.
