The way I understand it, it will be a dress-up affair in a toga sort of way. Monkey, it's time to break out the purple body thong.

I'm surely planning on being there. I heard the radio interview last night with Coach Rand and I'm ready for some basketball!

I've already had it on for the past month cause I am still waiting for the postman to deliver my purple thermal thong.

Kind of a tongue twister. Repeat as fast as you can.....

purple thermal thong
purple thermal thong
purple thermal thong
purple thermal thong
purple thermal thong
purple thermal thong

Pretty good half for the Bears as they are up 30-24 at the half. UCA got off to a pretty fast start jumping out to an 8-1 lead before the Vandals battled back. Here are some stats:

Idaho Central Arkansas
10-29 (34.5%) Field goals 11-27 (40.7%)
0-7 ( 0.0%) 3-Point FGs 4-12 (33.3%)
4-6 (66.7%) Free throws 4-6 (66.7%)
19 (7-12) Rebounds (Off-Def) 16 (4-12)
3 Steals 4
0 Blocks 2
6 Assists 8
6 Turnovers 5
1.00 Assist/turnover 1.60
2 Pts off turnovers 7
2 2nd-chance points 5
6 Bench points 1
16 Points in paint 10
6 Fast break points 0
1st-05:40 Last field goal 1st-02:59
2 (1st-07:46) Largest lead 7 (1st-16:35)

Ohh, and all 4 3's were made my one man! Marcus Pillow!!

Not that I've heard, other than Monty saying it is a good crowd on hand.

FINAL

UCA 65
Idaho 49

Very good second half by the Bears! Pillows has 24 points! 4 Bears in double figures. Bears improve to 8-1 against a very physical WAC team...only 2 wins away from equalling the win total from last season!

GO BEARS!

I know that our first conference game against UT-Arlington will be a BIG game. It happens to fall on the first day of classes. I just hope that they can get some good promotion out that day to really get everyone to turn out and have a HUGE crowd for that game!

It was a pretty physical game especially in the second half. Refs let them play for the most part. Not many fouls or turnovers. A well played ball game, imo. However, as someone stated earlier in this thread, the sound system is horrendous. Heard something is being done about it. Oh yeah, the popcorn still sucks.
