Just a reminder that Saturdays game with the Cowboys will tipoff at 3 p.m. (C.S.T.)

Air time will be at 2:45 p.m. .

I will drive back to Houston after the game so if you have questions, complaints, comments, etc., drop me an e-mail at MontyR@uca.edu
and I will answer it when I get to the hotel Saturday night.

Monty

If we lost this bad to McNeese...I don't see us doing much better against SELA!

I don't pretend to be an expert in this area, but I suspect it is hard for a team to come out and battle when they know that there is no possibility of advancing in to the post season.

McNeese State STILL has a chance of making the SLC post season tournament and they played today like their lives depended on it.

Still, the Bears have a chance of having a winning season, but it is going to be difficult. Wins over SELA, Nicholls State and Northwestern State will be difficult, but can happen.

I was going over the stats a few minutes ago when this number jumped off the page at me.

McNeese called the attendance today 635. I would be willing to bet that there were no more than 150 in that place.

Go Figure.....

Not to be a jerk here Monty but I guess times have changed. When I played sports back in my time I really didn't care if anything was on the line or not. I just hated like hell to lose. :x

Totally understand where you are coming from.

I also hated like hell to lose...just wanted to play.

Yeah, I noticed that division I events tend to inflate their attendance. But really, who cares how many show up when you have 150 to 3000 or so? The Bear fans that go are real fans! Maybe McNeese has a hard core handful that come to every game...

The size of the crowd is a crutch......you play to play your best not to impress Susie...if you are aware of the crowd, you are not in the game...

GoBears!!
