Today at Bearbackers, Rand announced that St. Bonaventure, Bowling Green of Ohio, Tennesse-Martin and North Carolina-Greensboro would, in fact, be playing the Bears at home in the Farris Center next season.

I know I had speculated on that earlier, but it appears now that the hay is in the barn on these four games and that the deals are, in fact, done.

Thought I would pass those along...certainly something to look forward too.

I suspect they probably only need three or four more games to fill out their schedule.

We shall see.

go ahead and add Rhema, Ecclesia and two more bad NAIA schools and there's 8 home non-conference games.

I love the ooc opponents. I love the fact that these schools decided to play us here in Conway. Can't wait until we play these schools. :D

It's good to see that will be playing some decent sized non-conference schools at home.

I suspect they are getting pretty close. They were working about a month or so ago on some non-conference home games.

With contracts, etc. , I'm going to say that both the mens and womens schedules will be released early to mid-August.

Remember this LCD article where they talked about us playing in the Cancun tournament...well, I just came across THIS. I don't know how accurate that is, but it is a start.

New Mexico (RPI 59)- MWC
Vanderbilt (RPI 12)- SEC

Grambling (RPI 328)- SWAC
Northern Arizona (RPI 139)-Big Sky Conference
Central Arkansas (RPI 280)-Southland Conference

A portion of Vandy's schedule was posted on their message board(VandyMania). Looks like the Bears are coming to Nashville on either Nov. 20 or 22.

This is great, our non-conference schedule is shaping up nicely.

This is old information, but the last I heard regarding the Cancun Tournament is that we would play Vandy the night before Thanksgiving in Nashville and then travel to Cancun on Thanksgiving Day. The games down there supposedly are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.
