UCA and UAPB will play an exhibition game Wednesday night at 7 O'Clock in the Farris Center.

Bring someone with you.

I think I'm going to close the store early and go out and take a look see.

Thats the attitude I like to hear Burly. I am pretty excited to see how all the newcomers will mesh in a real game situation.

not to be (too big) a smartass, but I honestly didnt know UAPB had women's BBall until I saw it on the schedule. I know their guys sort of have it there. I know it's an exhibition and all, but I am guessing we will wipe the floor with them.

With the number of new players that we have, we might not wipe the floor with anyone until midway through the season.

I got an e-mail of the schedule and the tipoff time for the UAPB game Wednesday Night is 6 PM. So, do not show up at 7 or you may miss half the game. By the way, admission is also FREE. You can't beat that deal with a stick.

GO SUGAR BEARS!!!

I look for a starting five of:

Renita Dobbins
Lauren Williams
Caronica Randle
Victoria Richards
Shannon Oden

I look for Allyson Sample, Tiffany Moore, Jamie Boone, Alicia Kellogg and Brittany Greer to see a decent amount of time. It being an exhibition, and against UAPB, I figure all 14 will get in. These games aren't always as much about winning and winning big as it is seeing what you've got.

You really think that Caronica will start? :)
I just don't know if she's good enough. I don't know if there will ever be another Carone, but Caronica may be pretty close by the time she graduates.

I would have to agree on Caronica. I guess the biggest difference between the two is that she plays with alot more emotion that Carone did.

The amazing thing about Carone was she would rip your heart and hand it to you on a silver platter and not have a change in her facial expression. The lady was (is) tough.

I don't know if Caronica will ever be the all-around player Carone was, but she's darn good. When she's done I would be surprised if she's not mentioned in the same breath as Carone and Checola.

What's scary is she's just about to enter her junior season. If she improved as much between years 2 and 3 as she did 1 and 2 ... as grandpa used to say, Katy bar the door.

Like the Burly one said, Carone would rip your heart out and hand it to you on a silver platter without changing expression. Caronica, on the other hand, will rip your heart out, bust out laughing about it, and then punt the thing up to row 13, seat 15.

What do you mean is she good enough to start? She has been a starter since the day she walked on this campus. She will go down as one of the best to ever wear the Sugar Bear uniform. End of Discussion.
