The University of Central Arkansas Bears added some size and strength on early signing day Wednesday with the addition of forward Chris Williams.
Williams, a 6-foot-6, 245-pounder, is a sophomore at Missouri State-West Plains where he is averaging 12 points and 7 rebounds this season. His West Plains team finished 27-5 a year ago.
Originally from Memphis, Williams played his prep basketball at Ridgeway High School where his team finished 22-7 his final season. As a senior, he averaged 14 points and 8 rebounds and was named to the Best of Preps team by the Memphis Commercial Appeal.
