Just a reminder tonights game tips at 6:30. Coverage begins at 6:15 on KASR 92.7 in Conway and at ucasports.com .

Due to a lack of wireless internet in the Nicholls gym, I will not be able to post any during the game, but if you have questions, you may either post them on here or send me an e-mail at MontyR@uca.edu and I will answer them after the game tonight.

Monty

Nope, they actually got the water and electricity two years ago...the wireless internet may take a while.

Heck, we will not have wireless internet over at McNeese on Saturday.

Missed the game but caught the last few minutes of Monty's wrap....sounded awful..Marks had 1 rebound????

At least UCA got some attention last night during the Tennesse v Vanderbilt TV game...on a couple of occasions Vandy players topped their season high which had been vs UCA and announcers (including Jimmy Dykes) made sure to make a couple of snide remarks each time....however, people only remember the name ......cheap national advertising....of course, Dykes could have mentioned Scottie Pippen and give some kudos to his home state but ......

Goodbye .500 record. I'm sure we'll meet again next season after we play Bacone, William Woods and Ecclesia again. I almost forgot about Haskell.

But hey, we did win one statistical category last night - committed fewer fouls.

24 wins the last two years
-8 conference wins
----------------------
16 wins vs non-SLC teams
8 wins (4 per season) against non-D1 competition

And I'm not talking about even D2 schools here:
D3 - 1
NAIA - 4 (Central Methodist twice)
NCCAA - 1
USCAA - 2 (Rhema)
and Texas College which I couldn't even find a Web site for when searching.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In 2005, the men won 1 game more than the women.
In 2006, the women won 4 MORE games than the men.
(The result? The woman's coach was fired 13 games into 2007 where the Interim Coach then...)
In 2007, the women won 1 MORE conference games than the men.

CSH was fired after a 2-11 start to the season. She still left with a .586 win percentage. Rand entered this season (with a job and) with a .570 percentage. In the two years of the SLC, the women have won 13 SLC games; the men 8.

That is all.

Can't argue with facts but one can question decisions.
