The Bears arrived late Tuesday afternoon in San Antonio and had a very high spirited practice last night at the Convocation Center.

UCA will be facing a team tonight that is somewhat similar to Sam Houston State in that UTSA likes to shoot the three. In fact, they have four or five players that are VERY good shooters from the perimeter.

Coach Rand Chappell said his team will need to play solid defense...rebound well and take care of the basketball to have a chance to win this game with the Roadrunners.

Chris Brown is expected to see more playing time tonight after being sidelined with a rib injury.

Tipoff tonight is set for 7 O'Clock with the pregame show set for 6:45 on KASR-FM 92.7 and ucasports.com

Chris Brown is back in the starting lineup tonight after being limited because of a rib injury.

Time to get your minds right...tipoff is less than an hour away.

The did play well...UTSA has a lot of weapons.

I think probably the best three teams in the league that I have seen thus far, in this order, Sam Houston, UTSA and Stephen F. Austin. All three, however, are VERY close.

Let me throw one more in there. Nicholls State is solid, but I would probably put them as the 4th best. They beat Sam Houston last night by one point, but as crazy as this league is...Nicholls could win it all.
