It's very hard to watch another team come into what is supposed to be our house and outrebound us almost two to one. That makes a bad team mediocre and now we can't beat mediocre teams.Yes, some very untimely long rebounds tonight, but the demons wanted the game more and that's what really hurts. Nothing new here, but practically no offense from our post players. Way to go Brooks and Mitch. You guys can get to the bucket just about anytime you want to.It's got to get better.

Expect to see a vastly revamped squad next year. Pouncey's return will help, along with Taylor and Reuter (if he returns after graduation) but beyond that look for change. Pillow must commit to additional work to end a two-year slump in shooting. Coaches are very hard recruiters but now comes the time when they can tell potential recruits that we are only a year away from full eligibility. That has been a major hindrance when you only have a few players to work with. Rough year but things will get better.

Farris Center is a sub-standard facility, however.

Something wrong with the floor or goals or lighting that we don't know about that might affect the playing on the court?

I know what you are trying to say but until the product improves the facility won't. I'll admit that 90% of the money I donate to the university goes to athletics, specifically, football and baseball and a little to track. Reason - my way of saying thanks for the enjoyment they have provided me over the last few years with their performances.

When the basketball brings some enjoyment to this old soul then shall I send some of my hard earned money their way also. I would imagine other folks feel a little like that also.

I don't see the Farris Center being sub-standard.Yes, it's 37 years old,but what's wrong with it?

I like the Farris Center, it still does a good job.

Granted if we put 3000+ in FC the layout is not ideal vs newer arenas.....for 1500 or fewer we have little problem getting close to the court.....last I checked, the seating does not affect the court play....FC could have some tinkering done and improve the environment.....however, I think if we had 3000 at a game both teams would step up play better than ever.......Bob Stoops at OU was concerned about the quiet crowds at Norman and sluggish play of the Sooners when he called out the fans to actually make some noise and wake the team up..... I think you can imagine how a bunch of Sooner fans felt about that...team put up about 600 yards offense the next game....
