Southland's big W's making little impact
By Andy Katz
ESPN.com

The Southland Conference is having a nice little run in the nonconference season, winning road games against rebuilding high major programs and getting some national pub.

The reality, though, is that the wins are probably not enough to get the Southland multiple bids in the NCAA Tournament, might not even be enough to get its champ out of a 15- or 16-seed, and, if history is an indicator, won't be enough for one of the coaches to land a head coaching gig at a higher level......

Depressing, ain't it?

We got two or three teams above the rest. There are others (i.e TxSt) that have losses to sub Div I teams. TxSt has losses to St Edwards and UT-Permain Basin. We have some other tough to swallow losses as well that should've been SLC wins...

I have a list of our Div I non-conference wins here...
