NWS (7-15/2-7), 5th in East
UCA (8-16/2-8), 6th in East

Tip 2pm at NWS

Demons are only 1-3 the past four outings with the win at UCA on 1/30 by 6. Since then they have lost to McNeese at home by 7, then lost to UTA on the road by 1 and then lost to SFA on road by 10.

Bears are also 1-3 with three close losses starting with the home loss to NWS, a tough road loss at Lamar by 8, a heartbreaker loss on road at Sam by 5 then the big win at home over UTSA by 8.

Pretty close in stats although UCA defense has been tighter and Bears only TO 13 per game. NWS has the rebounding edge which can be huge in a close road game plus better 3s shooting. Sheppard needs to put that 58% FG shooting to good use and

This could be called The Battle for the Bottom but really UCA can escape the cellar with another good game and win. Bears have played well the last 8 games although only 2 wins....NWS has been more erratic over the last 8 but have played very well at times....given they came into our house and won, this should be a tough game....get another effort like vs UTSA and Sam and just maybe come out wth a hard road win....good teams find ways to win close games on road....Bears are getting there...this would be a nice time to break out...

Go Bears!!

NOTE: To give some color to this week's win over UTSA, the Runners thumped Big 10 Iowa at Iowa City by 12 in November.

Usually we have played very close against Northwestern. Should be a great game between these two. Hopefully the Bears can carry the momentum after a home win versus UTSA. GO BEARS!!!
