What do you think about an annual 4-way holiday tournament with UCA (now that you will be D-1, UALR, UAPB and ASU?

that sounds like a good idea, but I have a couple of questions about that scenario.

1) Would stAte and UALR agree to play one another in that tournament, or let it be structured where they could possibly play in it against one another since the 2 schools already have to play each other twice in the regular season every year?

2) Would Uapb even consider playing in that tournament? The way they run football it wouldn't surprise me if they wouldn't want to play in that tournament.

I could see UCA playing against stAte & UALR. I could also see Uapb, if they were willing, playing stAte and UALR, that way UALR and stAte would avoid one another until their 2 conference games (I say avoid for a lack of better terminology right there)

It might have to be a situation where ASU and UALR rotated playing UCA and UAPB because of the conference situation, but even that would be a good thing, I think.

I think it would be a great idea. Make it more of a "jamboree" rather than a tournament where ASU and UALR rotate opponents since they are conference opponents.

If UAPB does not want to participate, then have rotating regional participants such as Mo. State, Tulsa, La. Tech, etc.

I understand the deed is already done regarding womens basketball. Supposedly, it will start in two years and rotate from school to school.
That's about all I have heard. I have heard nothing regarding a mens tournament, but I think it would be a heck of an idea.
