Starting to take shape ......

Light floor ...... my guess when all the painting is done they will shellac the floor and it will be darker...

Win 25 and the SLC and they can paint the floor chartreuse....

OU and OSU confirmed

OSU is playing five automatic-win games. That doesn’t mean the Cowboys will win all five, but it means they were scheduled as automatic victories: home games against Houston Baptist, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Nicholls State, Central Arkansas and Texas-San Antonio.

Meanwhile, Jeff Capel’s OU schedule contains seven automatic-win games, home games against Coppin State, North Carolina Central, Texas Southern, Gardner-Webb, Sacramento State, Central Arkansas and Maryland-Eastern Shore.

Actually a lot of basketball courts have a "two-tone" look. The Cleavland Cavs have it as well a lot of other teams in the NBA and college.

I really like the light color compared to the old yellow/orange looking floor. =D>

Agreed. It's certainly a big improvement. I'd give it an A.
It'd be an A+ without the purple to the sides of the paint. :)

That is a phenomenal looking court. Looks as good as anybody's and I would say is definitely the best thing going in the Southland Conference. Hopefully it'll make a favorable impression on recruits and look good on TV (which will also hopefully be a more common occurrence).

The Farris Center is never going to be among the best arenas in the league, but at least it's getting some upgrades. Of course, any arena is a ton better when there is a big, rowdy crowd on hand. We can change that (you would think) before we can change venues.

Anyway, a look at some other courts around the league ...

Might as well start off with the two nicest arenas in the league...

Put 4000+ rowdy and loud fans in the Farris Center every game with the Rage rocking and who cares what the arena looks like....

Yeah OOC home schedule is not exciting once again. Wonder if SMU comes here next year. Daron Hood of Bigelow plays for Tenn. Martin and their unibrow wearing coach.

The road schedule is pretty salty, and as far down as the program has been I can understand offsetting that with a weak home schedule just to get some wins.

The OOC schedule doesn't matter to me that much at this point. I just want us to improve enough that we are competitive and win some conference games. With an improving team and talent pool next season (hopefully), then try to get some real teams in the Farris Center.

It is a shame though that we have a coach that could get a few more fans in the door just because of his name, and they would only get to see us play five home games before New Years - only two of those against D1 competition.

Yeah, it is a shame. However, I wonder how much of this schedule was in place before CW took over.

At least we should make some money early on with road games to great venues...

Maybe 5-8 OOC record with a 2-8 D1 record before SLC play begins.....

Hope they do much better.....maybe 7-6 and 4-6.....
