University of Central Arkansas guard Dewan Clayborn was named Tuesday to the Southland Conference Men's Basketball All-Academic team.

Clayborn, a junior from Little Rock Parkview, has a 3.3 cumulative grade-point average in economics. Clayborn was the Bears' fifth-leading scorer last season, averaging 8.7 points per game in 22 games. He led the team in three-point percentage at 36 percent, making 31 of 86 attempts. He also averaged 2.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.
