The Mules and Mullets are about to get ridden right out of town in a not so ceremonious fashion!

That's the way it looks to me. Someone just had a slight brain malfunction when creating this brilliant idea to do it in the middle of the game.

And before others get the wrong idea, I'm not objecting to recognizing these obviously outstanding students either..just the timing and situation of it.

nowo n to the game, and the Sugar Bears are trying to erase all doubt right off the bat. They are hott!

Sugar Bears have jumped all over the mullets 23-5. 12:05 left in the 1st half!

A Sugar Bear win or a russellville tech loss and it's off to Tupelo the Sugar Bears go...looks good right now!..BTW if UCA wins and tech loses, that's called a good night around our house!

The Sugar Bears playing their Farris Center Gulf South Conference swan song, took matters into their own hands early and clinched a birth into next week's GSC tournament with a 75-65 victory over SAU. With the win, the Sugar Bears wrapped up the #3 seed out of the GSC West division and will play next Thursday in Tupelo, MS.

The Sugar Bears end the regular season with a record of 17-10. With the win, UCA finishes its final season in the GSC with a mark of 9-7.

GSC Men's Action... Christian Bros. upset UAM tonight, so that helps UCA a little bit as well...in fact we may end up a #2 seed, we'll know more later I believe.
--------------------

The UCA Bears got back on the winning track tonight and close out their final Gulf South Conference season with a win over SAU 73-56 tonight at the Farris Center. The Bears are headed to Tupelo, MS, for next week's GSC Tournament. The Bears finish GSC play with a 10-6 record. UCA is now at 17-9 overall, and will return to action one more time this regualr season. UCA hosts Rhema Saturday night at 7pm in the Farris Center.

Biggest crowd I remember seeing in the Farris Center was in the late 80's early 90's when the men played Harding for the District 17 title.
Seems I recall the attendance being at 5200.

The pic you are showing is all fraternity and sororities. They come out one night a year. Don't get me wrong, it was a great crowd, but getting our students to the games is a problem. The problem is not only at UCA, but at all lower level D-1 and most all D-II schools. Don't know how you address it.
