Come early and stay late. Sugar Bears play at 5, then let's see if we cant get the men to 3-0 in the OVC before our Southland season starts in a month.

Won TO by 18-10....

Won on FTs (26/45!!!)....but % was low

Won rebs.....42 v 34

Garner and Miles each had 16.....Harks added 11....Garner had 10 rebs for a DD...

Tyler Stone of SEMO hit 12/18 FGs and 6/7 FTs for total of 30.....

Coach: Guys are buying in and really took pride tonight....glad to see we stood up to their run to get back in....can't miss FTs like we did tongiht...got to keep working on....got to take pride when you go to the line....Garner and Miles had good games...Harks came off bench and brought energy as did Henson....

Bears now 4-3 with Henderson State up next on Wed....

We have size, athleticism, and quickness. When was the last time a UCA team looked like that on the court, depth wise. Yes, we have had elements of all those on the team in past, just more of it this year.

We only took 6 3's last night and made 4. Compare that to the 46 or so we took in the first 2-3 games, making only 19%.

I only disagreed with one of the 3's we took cause it was too early in the possession. Coach obviously has the team working on staying in the offense and not rushing the 3's. Good to see. Keep it going tomorrow night. I know HSU will give us a battle. Don't look past them. [-X

We have a lot on which we can improve.

Things definitely looked a whole lot better last night than the previous non-d1 loss we incurred at home a few weeks back, that's for sure!
