UCA guard LaQuentin Miles was named the SLC POTW:

Congrats to LM...nice honor...hard to believe Mitch never was recognized...he had some great games.

Unfortunately for Mitch, it's hard to win Player of the Week when you don't win many games. (No knock on Mitch)

His best chance would have been Feb. 3- Feb. 6, 2010 when he scored 23 and 31 points, but the Bears lost both games. The winner that week was Marquez Haynes from UTA, who scored 20 and 32 points and had a few more rebounds. The main difference, UTA won both of their games that week.
