FINAL
SFA 28-39=67
UCA 20-36=56

Like the SBs tonight, poor FG shooting (38%) and losing the rebounds game (32 v 42) is the difference....Bears did pick up defense late and closed to 5-7 range after trailing by 16.......only 10 TOs by Bears was solid....

Crawford led scoring at 15....very nice shooting for Robert...3/4 for 2s and 3/5 for 3s...Harks added 9....Rutledge led with 7 rebs....

SFA had three in double figures....

Bears fall to 5-9/0-2 while SFA is 3-0 in SLC play...Bears have never defeated SFA in basketball....

A=1679

Coach: SFA is tough, disciplined and defensive minded... felt we were in the game at half....have to have the end of game effort at start and in middle also...able to hang around....SFA defends half court real well ...we did not make FTs which hurt...another tough game Sat...have to learn and stop the bleeding...get a win and we will be Ok....

******

Shows signs of playing well but need more consistency....never gave up.... got to start faster..

Next is at NWS on Sat with tip at 1pm

Horrible FT shooters for one thing.

It seemed like they didn't play with the same energy the entire game. The last three minutes were high energy and fun to watch, but I didn't think they played that way the previous 37 minutes.

The press/traps break down and the defense on the back end just leads to layups. And on our end, we miss too many layups.

And the free throws. Oh, the free throws.
