Bears had 5 in double figures... Crawford and Miles at 19, Garner at 15, Harks at 11, Clayborn at 10 ...plus Carlos Bremner was 3/5 from 3s for 9 points...Miles has 10 rebs...

UCA shot 53% FGs and 48% 3s...only 54% Fts....out rebounded NSU by 50-37.....only 12 TOs and 23 assists....13 steals and 7 blocks....

Coach: Great feeling to have won two SLC games in a row...hard work in practice has paid off...getting off to a good start was big...followed game plan, played with pressure and not let them set up their offense....shot selection better and looking for who is open....Bremner is playing with some swagger and playing with conifence...Crawford had career high at 19...we can be effective if we play hard the entire game....our guys are playing much better and Lamar will be tough and we have to play our style and take good shots....

Next is Lamar at FC Sat in a doubeheader with Lamar v SBs.

So this team has already won more SLC games than last season! And I really feel like we have as good a team as SFA. We just didn't play well in that game.

We hadn't won back-to-back SLC games since ... well, 2007 when we finished the season that way. That's the ONLY other time it's happened. We've never gotten 3 in a row. Yes, I know that Nicholls team is pretty bad, but that was us last season sitting at 0-5.

Lamar put it on us the first time, but they are just 2-2 after dropping their last two, losting close to McNeese on the road and losing by 9 to UTA. They had Wednesday off.
