Texas State 47 (1-8/8-14)
UCA 32 (2-7/7-14)

The story is 47% v 30% FGs.....Bobcats lead 11-0 early....TSU has a 13-0 points off turnover lead andd 24-6 in 2nd chance points.... amzing we are only down 15....

Jarvis Garner leads Bears at 12/9....

This is a winnable game with a strong last half...

Bears trail 41-68...we seem to have lost focus and intensity for about five minutes and TSU poured it on...

FINAL

UCA 32-31=63
TSU 47-47=94

Pretty ugly any way you slice the stats...

UCA shot 37% overall but at least shot better in 2nd half at 42%.....Bobcats show 47% overall and 63% in 2nd half...

Bears had NO FTs in 2nd half.....really....

Outrebounded 49-41 and had 18 TOs...TSU scored 30-10 on points off TOs....

Jarvis Garner had a good night at 18/15 and Roger Crawford was 12/2

Coach did not have a lot to say...no effort...18 TOs and no pressure....30 points off TOs was the game...still can get some wins and into the tourney but have to win a game first...

Next is McNeese State on Sat at FC starting at 4pm.....

So, against UTA they were up 16-0 before we scored.
And then last night we we down 11-0 and 13-1 before we finally make a field goal.

It may be easier to win if you don't spot the opposition a double-digit lead before you score at all.
This is true for every sport that immediately comes to mind.
