Based on OOC games so far and some national ratings, Bears should have an opportunity to move to next level this season.

So far thee SLC looks like this to me......

Top 3: SFA, NWS and ORU...so far SFA is the odds on favorite but never overlook ORU.....NWS has shown some promise and a road win 12/29 at Fayetteville would mix things up...

Next 3: McNeese State, Sam Houston State and UCA.....Cowboys started slow but have played pretty weill of late...Bears could easily be 7-2 instead of 4-5...... getting Miles back and keeping guys healthy is a key...they seem to be putting things together...

Next 4: TAMCC, SELA, Nicholls State and Lamar...all struggling...these are teams you have to beat to be in top echelon of SLC.....would not be surpised if one turned out to be better than advertised...
