These ladies are having a great season and have a chance to finish with 20+ wins in their first season in DI (on a schedule that has no DII schools on it)!!! They are 17-15 (5-7) right now with 4 conference games left, two on the road against teams they have already beaten, Nicholls and SELA (two bottom teams in the SLC East) and two at home to finish the season against SHSU (last in SLC West) and SFA (1st in SLC West with a 23-3 (12-0) record). SFA looks to be very tough...lets hope we can pack out the Prince Center and hand them a L!!

For the team to have done this well is impressive already. If they can win three of the next four and get to 20 wins, that would be more than I think they could have hoped for.

They are playing with some very good freshmen and will lose three very good seniors at the end of the season. Last night was senior night and they destroyed UAPB, as would be expected since the SWAC isn't known for it's volleyball (and soccer) teams.

They haven't done too well on the road, so these next two games against division opponents are important! If they get on a role, hopefully they can end the season with a HUGE win over SFA. I wonder if they will change the time for the volleyball game since football starts at 1:00. It'd be nice to see volleyball at 10:30 or so before the football game (I know that'd still possibly overlap by a little bit but not much.)

Are you sure they have a chance? Since it's just a chance, you probably shouldn't write about it.

The game time won't be moved since SFA plays at Northwestern State (roughly 5-6 hours away) the night before.

Teams have complained about NWLA as being UCA's travel partner. The Sugar Bears have the advantage of flying to places and being able to rent vans to get to their travel partner (i.e. San Antonio/Corpus Christi). Not so easy to do with Conway and Natchitoches.

Nice. They have more of a chance because they determine that chance with their own play, not relying on other (soccer) teams to lose --- practically every game. And even if not, this is a message board not a press release. All the volleyball team has to do is win their own games.

Moving on, thanks for the info on the game time.
