Big game in Conway for SHSU...

Due to NWST's loss to SFA, a SHSU win will put the Kats into the SLC tournament as the #8 seed...

Best of luck to both teams in this match!

I'm pretty sure the Sugar Bears will go 1-1 this weekend, since they're 9-2 in the Prince Center. But if the 'Kats do make it, maybe they'll win the whole tournament like McNeese did in soccer. They were the #6 seed and if UCA would have been elgible, they would not have made the cut. The Bears would have been the #5 seed and Texas State bumped to #6.

Come on BNB, you gotta have faith that they can beat SFA.
The last game of the season...
They are undefeated...
We're new to the league...

It sounds like the perfect movie to me - a Rudy-like story.

They did end Harding's GSC-West streak last season in a dramatic five-game match.

GREAT crowd on hand for Smoothies...and a UCA sweep tonight as they took our Sam in 3 games tonight in the Prince Center. I'm sure more info is to come, but it was a great, loud crowd tonight to enjoy a Sugar Bears' WIN!

While I won't comment on personnel issues...

Many in the SHSU fan community believe our HC is out. She's been the HC since we were Div II and brought us up into Div I over 20 years ago...

Those who went to a recent SFA game couldn't believe the lack of discipline of the players and with an SLC tournament bid on the line, getting swept especially by an opponent that they should've played close with, if not beat, will really get the Kat faithful in an uproar...

I think the powers that be at SHSU will make the best decision for the program and the department. That lies in the hands of the AD obviously. Whether we agree or not, we go with the AD...

I will say this, I ended up sitting next to the only 4 or 5 Sam fans that were in the Prince Center. Glad they came, hope they enjoyed their trip to Conway, as I conveyed to the Kat fan I sat next to.
