Volleyball vs TX St

Don't forget the Sugar Bears will take on TX State at 7:00 pm in the Prince Center tomorrow night! The Bobcats are picked to win the SLC and have made it into the NCAA Tournament 3 of the last 4 years! Get out there and cheer the SugarBears onto victory! Also, don't forget to bring some non-perishable food items to the game!

In addition to a food drive, we are also bringing back the glowsticks. So wear your black or UCA purple and let's pack the Prince Center tonight. First 100 fans will receive glow sticks! See you all tonight!!! PURPLE REIGNS AT THE PRINCE!!!!!

Not to discourage your enthusiasm, but the entire contest is a match, consisting of sets or games. So in other words Texas State won the match three sets to none.

But don't worry most volleyball people don't even know how to pronounce libero. It's LEE-beh-ro (rather than lih-BEAR-oh like the majority of the coaches say).

Hard to correct people when you are wrong yourself. They tossed the 'game' terminology. They are 'sets' now.

How many times can SIDs refer to something different in a story? I've seen sets, frames, stanzas...any advice for other names?

Having a rough year in volleyball, which is what you could say about most of the recent history for the team. Losses to McN and SLU were pretty bad. Can't lose those and maybe we're talking about a solid slot in the SLC tournament...
