Another tough test for the Sugarbears (13-2, 2-0) tonight as they face SFA (12-6, 1-0) in Nacogdoches at 7:00 pm.

Sugar Bears take set 5! This makes their 13th consecutive win; now 3-0 SLC, 14-2 overall.

Quite the slugfest - Cristin Curl showed why she's defensive POTW - 25 digs in 5 sets!

The Sugarbears took the 5th and final game 15-13!! They take the match 3-2! The Sugarbears went 2-0 in their last 2 matches against 2 of the toughest teams in the SLC this season...on the road!

WOW!!!!! What a match! The girls played hard out there and the result and tough 5 set winner! Way to go ladies! Congrats CC for being named player of the week! With tonight's win, the Sugar Bears have tied the 1986 team for consectutive victories in a row, 13. Come watch us play Thursday against Nicholls as they try to set a new mark. SUGAR BEARS TOP LADYJACKS IN FIVE

Austin in five sets at Johnson Coliseum on Monday night. The Sugar Bears (14-2, 3-0) downed the Ladyjacks (12-7, 1-1) 28-26, 22-25, 25-21, 17-25, 15-13 to open Southland Conference play with three road victories.

The winning streak ties the 1986 Sugar Bears, who started the season 13-0. UCA will look to extend the streak on Thursday night when they host Nicholls at 7 p.m. in Conway.

"This was a big time win for us," said head coach Steven McRoberts. "The girls really fought tonight. To start conference 3-0 and all on the road is a great feeling. We are ready to get back to the Prince this weekend."
