FORT WORTH, Texas - The University of Central Arkansas volleyball team shocked national power TCU on their home court with a four-set win in the final match of the TCU Molten Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Sugar Bears (5-3) downed the Horned Frogs (3-3), who finished last season ranked 34rd in the NCAA RPI, 25-21, 25-19, 22-25, 25-14. Junior libero Cristin Curl and sophomore middle blocker Taylor Hammonds were named to the all-tournament team.
Anyone who saw the match live or on the web knows our Sugar Bears were AWESOME! Everyone played great and the whole team hung tough throughout. Special congratulations to Cristin & Taylor for their well deserved all-tournament team selection.
