Dont forget the Sugarbears battle Nicholls tonight in LA. GO SUGARBEARS!!

Also going on at the same time, UTSA faces off at TX State...the only SLC team to have beaten this season. Go TX State (the only time I'll ever say that) :lol:

SBs in a battle with Nicholls, they lead 15-14 in game 1.

On a side note, TX state leads UTSA 2 game to 0 (25-10 in both)!

Assuming the Sugar Bears beat SLU - the last-place team -

They could play Corpus Christi, Nicholls or SFA , who are all tied for the last spot.

It appears Corpus has the tie breaker over NICH and SFA, and NICH holds it over SFA.

However, Nicholls hosts Northwestern St. SFA hosts Lamar and Corpus goes to TXST on Saturday.

I'm guess UCA-Nicholls in the first round.

Seeding right now is
1. UCA
2. UTSA
3. TXST
4. UTA
5. Sam Houston
6. Lamar
7. McNeese
8. Corpus Christi

I didn't look at SFA's record specifically wrt tie breakers, but their story after last night's loss to McNeese says they're out of the tournament for the first time in program history.

There is a potential for TAMCC, NWST and Nicholls to all end up at 5-11. Here's how I understand the tie breaker situation for them:

TAMCC truly has their fate in their hands. If they win Saturday (at Texas State on senior day, unlikely), they have the edge over NWST and Nicholls.

If TAMCC loses, whoever wins the Nicholls-Northwestern State game Saturday gets the last spot. If Nicholls wins, they have the better record. If NWST wins, they win the tie breaker.

Seeding for Sam Houston, Lamar and McNeese will come down to Saturday's results.
Right now the only guaranteed seed is Texas State at #3. Should be an interesting weekend...
