Here is all of the info about the tournament.

Interesting fact: In the past 15 SLC Tournaments, the #1 seed has won the tournament only once! Hopefully we make it twice!

Every game of the 2010 Southland Conference Volleyball Tournament will be streamed live for free on SLC NOW and the championship game will be televised by the Southland Conference Television Network.

Friday, November 19
Match 1 - 11 a.m. (SLC NOW)
No. 2 UTSA vs. No. 7 McNeese State

Match 2 - 1:30 p.m. (SLC NOW)
No. 3 Texas State vs. No. 6 Lamar

Match 3 - 4 p.m. (SLC NOW)
No. 1 Central Arkansas vs. No. 8 Nicholls

Match 4 - 6:30 p.m. (SLC NOW)
No. 4 UT Arlington vs. No. 5 Sam Houston State

Saturday, November 20
Match 5 - 5 p.m. (SLC NOW)
Winner Match 1 vs. Winner Match 2

Match 6 - 7:30 p.m. (SLC NOW)
Winner Match 3 vs. Winner Match 4

Sunday, November 21
Championship Match - 3 p.m. (Southland TV & SLC NOW)
Winner Match 5 vs. Winner Match 6

Southland Volleyball Tournament Starts Friday

Lots of information about the tournament and its participants.

Over the last two seasons, the Sugar Bears have been the most dominant team in the Southland. UCA leads the league in overall wins (53) and wins against conference teams (31). They have finished atop the East Division in each of the last three seasons and have an unblemished record in the Farris Center winning its last 25 consecutive matches. Of the last 31 conference wins, UCA has swept league members 21 times.

That is a great acomplishment.

#2 UTSA survived #7 McNeese, 3-2.

#3 TX State and #6 Lamar are tied up at 1-1.

Watching the warm-up session on SLC Now. Good to see SHSU go down early..too bad UTSA survived...gonna be a tough tourney! :shock:
