Abbe Harry shot 438 with 17 kills...…..Amari Mitchell hit 500 with 9 kills....Bailey Waddington had 19 assists and Rayna Jefferis led with 13 digs...……

3-2 with games of 22-25, 25-23, 17-25, 25-18 and 15-7

Neither team shot well with UCA only 180 and Lions at 194....
Amari Mitchell has another good game shooting 500 with 15 kills while Madi Bowles close behind with 476 and 12 kills......Elizabeth Armstrong had a terrific 29 assists and Emily Doss had 17 digs...

Now 6-6/12-13...……...this week back on the road at HBU and SHS...….now tied for 7th with Southeastern one game back of 5th place HBU.....Nicholls State and UNO two games back tied for 8th.....

VolleyBears rally from 0-2 to win another 5 game match by 25-27, 18-25, 25-21, 25-17 and 15-12.

Neither team shot great as UCA at 208 vs 203. Unbelievable stats.....each scores 81...each has 66 kills...…..each has 4 aces.....each had 11 blocks….UCA was +2 on digs and +2 on assists....

Alexis Stumbough leads scorers with 18 kills but only shoots 250 as she had 6 errors....Abbie Harry has 17 kills but 8 errors to hit 145....Madi Bowles has 12 kills and hits 267...Waddington had 27 assists and Armstrong 26....Doss accumulated 35 digs and Stumbough 18...

Hats off to HBU's Morgan Dewyer who hit 308, had 51 assists and 16 digs....

Huge win to catch up to HBU in standings with each now at 7-6 in SLC.....VBs even season record at 13-13....

On a happy note today, the VolleyBears beat 10-4 Sam at Huntsville...…..clinched tournament spot....

25-21; 25-22; 20-25; 20-25; 15-13...……..VBs now 8-6/14-13...

Outshot by 195 to 226...….

Abbie Harry had 20 kills but also 13 errors to shoot only 115.....Amari Mitchell led at 433 with 16 kills....

Now to finish up at home this next week and get tourney ready.....

This team is really pulling it together at the right time! Now to finish strong and have a deep run in the SLC Tournament!

Another nice win down the stretch for the VBs.……….3-0 shut out with 25-20, 25-21 and 25-16....

Outshot Cardinals 296 v 168...…...Abbie Harry had 20 kills to hit 400 and Amari Mitchell had 8 kills and hit 357.....Alexis Stumbough and Madi Bowles had 9 kills each...Armstrong had 21 assists and Waddington had 19....Jefferis and Doss each had 16 digs....

Now 9-6/15-13...….regular season finishes up Sat at noon vs TAMCC...need to pack The Prince.....

Two pretty similar teams who play hard every point.....VBs pulled out a 3-1 win in anything but an easy win......25-22, 22-25, 28-26, 25-23....if my memory serves me right, we trailed the 2nd game 19-12 then put on a furious rally only to fall short......in #3 we led 21-17 and Islanders slipped back in and if was touch and go....then in #4 trailed 13-7 at one point.....

Got outhit 258 to 250...but we were +3 on kills...….Madi Bowles seemed like she was just going through the motions but ended up hitting 455 with 11 kills, 3 blocks and 3 digs.....very smooth player....Ravin Rhodes had a nice outing with 364 hitting and 6 kills......Emily Doss was busy with 23 digs and Elizabeth Armstrong had 30 assists and 3 blocks...Bailey Waddington had 24 assists and 7 digs and many solid serves....Amari Mitchell had a nice game with 10 kills, 3Bs and 3Ds...Lexi Miller subbed in and hit 800 on 4 big kills....Abbie Harry was a workhorse but not as sharp as usual.....still had 21 kills and 8 digs but also 5 service errors...eventually we quit trying to get aces and just put the ball in play...

VBs ended up 10-6/16-13 in regular season with 7 wins to end the season....

Box score shows 287 attended but there were few seats and it was loud.....hats off to the VB fans for the exciting atmosphere....we ended season in 5th..see Top 8 below...
