Nice to open a new era and new season with a win over a good team...giving up 12 hits is not encouraging but good relief pitching and timely hitting won the day...

Bears (T1 West) fall to #5 Arkansas 2-1 in 10.....so very close......

Got to keep the energy up now with big series at Nashville with Lipscomb (#3 West)....

By the way, Stetson (#6 East) beat #3 Miami tonight by 12-4.....Kennesaw State (#1 East) beat #24 Georgia Southern by 5-3......Jacksonville State (#4 West) lost at home to #19 Auburn by 8-4....

ASUN tourney shaping up to be some good baseball....
