Baseball today at 2 p.m. at the old, pun intended, ballpark. Only six home games left. Hope to see some of you there!

Caught the very end of the game broadcast today. Bears beat SELA 6-5 in 10 innings!

These guys are peaking at the right time and hopefully we can finish above .500 in our first year with a complete D1 schedule. \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

Way to go! I had trouble with the internet feed and could barely hear. Sounded like a great game

Yeah it was choppy but I definitely heard that we got the W and Coach Goody was bragging about how special the Freshman pitcher Pritchett is going to be.

Way to go Bears!!!!!

We scored the winning run on either an E6 or infield hit.

10th inning recap:
Dickson F8
Houk 2B
Davis BB
Ashworth FC, Davis out at second, Houk to 3rd
Martin 1B/E6

I think Martin went back up the middle and potentially off the pitchers glove, making it difficult for the SS to field. Otherwise, it might have just been an E. 101 may have to clear that up for us.

I was able to listen to the last bit on the way home. It sounded exciting.

I looked today at the NCAA's RPI listing. The Bears were at 190 or 293 if I remember correctly. I know that doesn't look terribly impressive, but how many of those were actually D2 last season?

Also, Warren is not "officially" listed on the list for HRs this season, but if he wasn't he'd be in a tie for 28th (don't know what he did today since i wasn't able to listen to all of it) with his 11 homers.

No homers today. Team played a good sound brand of baseball today. On the last play of the game, I'd give their ss an E.
SELA had a real good crowd there. One couple I talked to said it was about a seven and a half hour drive. They were really impressed with our campus.
