Well, first 11 games have been some up and down.....record now 5-6 with a Top 25 win...

Open with 2 of 3 from SEMO at home...3-11, 3-0, 13-4...better each game....

Then a trip to Music City for a 5-4 win over #11 Vandy.....great game!!

Stop over in Springfield and drop a series to Mo State Maroon Bears in 1 run losses....ugh....10-11, 3-4, 1-2...better each game

Lose at home to Memphis by 6-8

Then a weekend home series vs Illinois State that shows baseball at its craziness....win Game 1 by 4-3....the fall 6-8 in 10 innings in the night cap...then rebound for the rubber game win by 22-10...go figure....ISU on their spring baseball vacation In Arkansas went 2-1 at Jonesboro, 0-1 in Fayetteville (lost by 9-10...UA pitching did not impress...)... and 1-2 in Conway...

Next week sees Bears go to UALR (5-4) on Tuesday....Trojans have win over UAPB, 2-1 with South Dakota State, 1-1 with Bradley 1-2 with Valpo......then get Mo State on Wednesday at Bear Field...then UTM (3-9) in for the 3-game weekend series...like to see a 5-0 week....Skyhawks have wins over Belmont and Murray State and losses to Valpo, Kent State, Alabama and Belmont....

Congrats to Bears Baseball for getting a sweep of UNA to start conference play!

Tough road game ahead on Tuesday against #1 LSU in Baton Rouge.

For sure a good weekend of baseball vs UNA.....with the midweek win over Memphis Bears now 11-8.....Good test at LSU to see if we are up for it after the win over Vandy....Go Bears!!

Bears have hit a rough spot for now....6-6/14-17....UAPB next on Tuesday then the weekend at North Florida then home for #5 Arkansas on 4/18....need to win series at UNF to move up in ASUN....

Beras fall 6-3 at Fayetteville tonight...took early 1-0 lead...fell back 1-3 then tied in T7th on 2-run HR...gave up 3 in B7 with two outs....

Pretty good game vs highly ranked team....winnable game that got away....

After pummeling UAPB last week then going 5-0, 5-9 and 0-5 at North Florida hurt....now have Stetson at Bear Field this week and really need to win the series...tied for 8th at 7-8 with North Florida and Kennesaw State....Stetson at 9-6 tied with Jacksonville for 6th....Go Bears!!

Sweep by Stetson really hurt....now 7-11/16-23..still lots of ball to be played......12 ASUN games left....

Been less than average since the year they
went to the Starkville Regional. Got some great
kids …hopefully next year will be a little better.

Baseball Bears take series over EKU 2 games to 1 and end season 23-31/14-16.....season now over.....Lipscomb, EKU, FGCU, Jacksonville, Jax State, Liberty, Stetson and APU make up the tourney bracket...had we swept EKU and won one other ASUN game during the season Bears would be instead of EKU....on to 2024....if I counted correctly 13 seniors graduated.....
