hey bear fan 101,I take it you were at the game,do you think Humphrey has enough speed on his pitches that he can compete in the conf games,by eating up 5 to 6 ininnings
sounds like it was a tough game,BUT THE BOYS DIDN'T GIVE UP.THAT FAT LADY DIDN'T SING!!!
I'm not sure necessarily I'm qualified to say if he throws hard enough or not. I know he is a competitor and had a lot of K's at UAFS compared to his innings pitched. Coach Goodwin talked about his deception and his motion. But I do know that at this point in the season his role wil lbe to eat up innings, and if he keeps up the rest of the season, what he did yesterday, we're going to be quite alright.

I obviously was not at the 2nd game, but great to hear the bats came alive and got some runs. Also I did catch a glimps of the box score, It would appear the bullpen had another outstanding effort in the 2nd game of the DH. Without seeing the game, it appeared that even Brewer came back and pitched very well by the numbers. I'm ecstatic we have won 2 of the first 3, and a strong case we should be up 3-0. Not sure who is going in the game tomorrow, but I kind of like our chances to take 3 or 4, especially if we can keep capitalizing on their miscues.
