And I don't know how many there were, but there were some Bear fans there making some noise too throughout the game.

I agree with HB's assessment of SteveO's call at the end. I've already told him so as well.

Great game. I thought we'd blown too many opportunities to win.

We struck out like 15 times and left about a dozen stranded on base, but some how still came out with the win.

All the pitching was from young guys, and all of them did well. To hold a team that's played so well to just three runs with such young guys is great.

This was a HUGE win going into Thursday night. We need to get that first SLC win under our belt and go from there.

Great job tonight guys! I can't wait until Thursday.

BEARS TAKE DOWN #8 REBELS IN 10
BASEBALL • Mar 18, 2008

OXFORD, Miss _ It took 10 innings but the University of Central Arkansas Bears finally secured their biggest victory in their short Division I baseball history Tuesday night.

Chris Houk knocked in the go-ahead run in the 10th inning and Matt Humphrey put together a solid relief effort to carry the Bears past the Rebels at Oxford-University Stadium...

Rebels Fall To Central Arkansas 4-3 In 10-Inning Affair

OXFORD, Miss. – Fuller Smith turned in a perfect night at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a run scored, but it wasn’t enough as the No. 8 Ole Miss (13-6, 2-1 SEC) didn’t take advantage of opportunities down the stretch in a 4-3 loss to Central Arkansas (8-11) on Tuesday.

Despite recording 10 hits on the night, the Rebels left 15 men stranded on the night in the loss...
